Play’N Go brings us the fantasy world of Dragon Maiden, a slot based around the mystical creature and its sympathiser. Blessed with the power to make the creature shower you with both fire and winnings, it’s probably best to keep her on side.

Presented over the 5 x 3 format that we’ve come to know and love, with a whopping 243 paylines, this slot takes you on a journey into the enchanted world of the fire-breathing monsters, fondly known as dragons.

A host of great features
A key figure throughout the story is the Dragon Maiden, also the name of the slot. She is the keeper of the ferocious dragon, and can bring wins on her own if you get three or more of her across active paylines. This symbol can expand to cover the reels three symbols high, it can  also substitute all other symbols, except the scatter, to form a win.

Our friendly (or not so, who knows) dragon is the scatter, get him two or more times across the reels to watch the spectacle of him breathing fire and awarding a respin, with the other dragons locked in their positions during the furore. Additional dragons joining the party during the repsins will mean yet another respin, ongoing until no more dragons appear.

The spins don’t only come free, they’re golden too
Get three or more of the scatter to trigger the free spins feature, and watch as the dragon increases the height of the reel it chooses to appear on. Reels can expand up to six symbols high, with the possibility of the coveted Golden Spin following the free spins if you land a dragon on a reel that has reached its maximum expansion.

The aforementioned Golden Spins feature is triggered by getting a dragon on the fully expanded reel. Do this with all five reels expanded and you could be looking at a potential 7776 ways to win, not bad odds at all at this point

Dragon Maiden Game Design

Go on a time-travelling adventure and witness the power that the Dragon Maiden yields. This slot game offers you action-packed gameplay and amazing animations that will keep you roaring for more!

This casino slot’s graphics is one truly befitting of a Dragon Maiden. The elaborate illustrations bring life to the dragons, bringing you right into the dragon pits. Set in the medieval ages, the castellar design gives off a vibe that lets you relive the days of crusades and gory battles. The symbols are all relevant to the story of the game, which takes you right at the heart of this dragon quest.

The dragons in hiding are calm as portrayed in the game’s perfect mix of light and heavy colours. The terrain has dark shades of brown and grey while the rest of the background gleams in hues of white, yellow, gold, and purple. Dragon Maiden’s animation is not at all skimped because soft and heavy transitions move smoothly across the screen when you spin the fiery reels.

The music strongly gives off a medieval vibe with its antiphonal nature. Ensembles of instruments and chants face against each other as if in battle. Sounds of chains hitting against each other play when you spin the reels, and a thick drum beat plays when you score a payline. When you get a big win, the music gradually becomes louder and more festive, giving you the feeling of a celebration for a well-deserved win.

Overall, this slot game truly didn’t come to play in the game design department. The casino slot Dragon Maiden has one of the hottest graphics for a slot game out there, so spin the reels and feel the heat!
