Dragon Pearls: Harness Good Energy

Booongo’s casino slot Dragon Pearls is a 5-reel, 20-payline slot that features different elements of the ancient art of Feng Shui.

The basic symbols are the picture cards of a standard deck, known individually as the Jack, the Queen, the King, and the Ace. Each symbol has its own payout for every winning combination based on the max bet:

The high-paying symbols are objects and creatures of the Feng Shui tradition, all believed to bring good luck into one’s life. For instance, the yansheng coins (gold coins) and the jin chan (golden toad) are all popular ornaments because Feng Shui practitioners believe they attract wealth and success.

Each has its own payout for every winning combination based on the max bet:

A red cauldron of coins serves as the game’s Scatter symbol. If it appears on the reels thrice, you are given a bonus of €5 and 8 Free Spins.

A yin-yang symbol serves as the game’s Wild and it substitutes all symbols except Scatter and Bonus.

A pearl, which is the crowning feature of the game, is the Bonus symbol. 6 or more of them trigger the Bonus Game, which is the crowning feature of Dragon Pearls.

Features and Forces of Luck

Free Spins

You win 8 Free Spins if 3 Scatter symbols appear on the second, third, and fourth reel. Only high-paying symbols, Wild symbols, Scatter symbols, and pearls will be shown on the reels during the Free Spin mode. Another set of Free Spins will be retriggered if you get 3 Scatter symbols during the Free Spin mode. The Bonus Game can also be activated during this feature.

Bonus Game

If you get 6 or more pearls, the game goes into the Bonus mode. You get 3 Respins at the beginning of the game, but every time a Bonus symbol appears, the number of Respins resets to 3. Only the Bonus symbols appear on the reels during this feature.

You can collect up to 15 Bonus symbols. ‘MINI’ symbols give the ‘mini jackpot’ while ‘MAJOR’ symbols pay out the ‘major jackpot’. If all 15 are collected, you can obtain the grand jackpot of 1000x your wager.

The game will be on Bonus mode until you run out of Respins or collect all Bonus symbols. The values of all symbols will be summed up at the end of the feature and your bonus win will be paid.

Dragon Pearls: Of Luck and Lore

An ornate deep purple covers the game screen, with intricate traditional Chinese patterns embellished on it. The purple is a colour that reminds one of royalty and Dragon Pearls exudes such an ambience. Red pillars, trimmed with a mighty golden dragon, are mounted beside the reels.

The symbols are all of Feng Shui tradition, such as the pot of yangsheng coins and the jin chan. These—and other symbols in the game—are known to be charms that bring wealth and prosperity into one’s home. In the background, an upbeat oriental tune plays breezily, bringing you a sense of excitement of what’s to come.
